WWII: China-Burma-India Theater | A Retrospective Exhibit in San Diego, CA

CBI Victory focus on the China-Burma-India theater of war during World War II and was co-sponsored by the San Diego Chinese Historical Society of America, opening on April 19, 2025.

The China-Burma-India Theater of World War II was a vast battleground of untold stories at the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937 through August 1945.

CBI Victory” is the first exhibit to examine the participation of Chinese Americans who fought in the China-Burma-India theater of World War II. The stories of these Chinese American men and women are being profiled through rare artifacts from my archival collection, and many of these artifacts are seen for the very first time.
